The Ethics Committee of Youth and Childhood Studies operates under the auspices of the Finnish Youth Research Network, and offers ethical assessments for researchers whose work is not covered by an ethics committee in their respective organisations. Note that researchers requesting a statement must be members of the Finnish Youth Research Society or the Finnish Society for Childhood Studies.

The committee’s next meeting will be held on 22nd September 2021, and requests for assessment must be submitted according to the request instructions and using the electronic form by 1st September 2021. Please note that all the requested documents should be attached to the request when submitted, as otherwise there may be delays due to the committee needing to request the missing data.
