Youth work within the regional reform (2017–2018)
Local government functions will be reorganised as a consequence of the health and social services reform that will be implemented in 2018. The regional reform will introduce a new level of public administration to Finland and a new field of representative democracy. Both reforms will affect the status of youth work as a local government function and promoter of youth participation. The project will be a preliminary study for subsequent research projects. It will be used as a basis for accumulating material and producing information on new public administration partnerships through the monitoring of 3-4 counties.
