Similarities and differences in youth work (2017-2019)

The research section examines what unites and differentiates the various forms of work in youth work and individual youth workers’ descriptions of their own work. The material for the research project was collected as part of the ‘Youth work curriculum project’, which constructed an educational description of youth work with the help of five Finnish cities. Interviews carried out during the project discussed youth workers’ professional growth and views of the principles of youth work, and the positioning of youth work as part of the service networks offered to young people.The project is reported as individual articles.
